Our customers appreciate that we don’t mix the Ash with cheaper variants. Many of you are genuinely impressed, pointing to swift deliveries and the high standard of our products as reasons you keep coming back.
I’m very pleased customers can see the value in the service we provide them. I will ensure this is kept ongoing to make buying firewood as easy as possible for all.

Affordability and Value:
A recurring theme was the desire for more wood at less cost. Reflecting a broader wish for enhanced affordability during more challenging economic times. Suggestions ranged from offering big log bags to introducing discounts during off-peak seasons and special offers for repeat customers. Your feedback underscores a shared eagerness for value without compromising on quality.
I really understand this. The cost of many things at the moment seems to be never-ending. However, I have addressed this and pushed my suppliers as hard as I can. I have reworked prices and now offer summer deals for you all to take full advantage of. I have sneakily brought bags from my competitors and compared the sizes. This ensures our Jumbo Bag is the biggest offered locally for 100% Ash. Meaning best value possible for you. (Please don’t compare it to mixed hardwood Ash)

Product Variety and Size:
Many appreciated our range but desired greater variety in wood types and sizes. From offering smaller logs for multi-burners on canal boats to providing mixed hardwood bags for the price-conscious buyer. The call for consistently sized logs was clear, pointing towards a desire for products that perfectly fit your needs and fireplaces.
I have chosen to sell Ash firewood as it’s the densest hardwood and, therefore, the most extended burning. Saving customers money in the long run. However, I do appreciate that currently price is also a deciding factor for some. I will be adding more product varieties as time goes on to ensure all my customers are adeared to.

I provide a standard-size log that fits the larger majority of stoves. Canal boat stoves can be very small on some boats. However, I will always try to accommodate better moving forward.
Sustainability and Accessibility:
Whilst the majority praised our kiln-dried wood, there was also interest in more affordable options like seasoned wood. The convenience of delivery and customer service excellence were noted, with suggestions for improvements like Saturday delivery and clearer communication regarding delivery times.
I am so glad customers are happy with the delivery side of our service. It’s something I try very hard with, especially during the busy months. I have introduced Saturday deliveries during the busier months for quite a while now, so I will ensure this is made clearer.

Due to new strict regulations, firewood has to be wood sure approved to be legally acceptable to burn. Kiln drying the wood ensures we meet this standard to keep all our customers out of trouble with local councils.
Continuous Improvement:
Even those fully satisfied with Tettenhall Firewood expressed a keenness for ongoing enhancements, whether through broader product ranges, more flexible delivery options, or even eco-friendlier practices.

As you may already know, we offer in-house chimney sweep and stove servicing.

When is the best time to get your chimney swept? Summer times around June and July are the best.
